Wear Orange

Oasis are following the lead of the United Nations to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women by wearing Orange.

Wednesday 25th November

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

Two women a week are murdered by a current of ex-partner in the UK. Oasis Domestic Abuse Service works to help those who are at serious risk of harm, providing a place of safety and giving advice to those in the community that need it most. Oasis also aims to prevent abusive relationships by educating and mentoring children and young people living in East Kent, because Love Shouldn’t Hurt.

To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Oasis is asking businesses to wear orange. Either put orange in your shop window or wear orange / an orange item to show your support for those women and girls who live in fear of violence and intimidation across the world. A donation of just £1 will help Oasis create brighter futures for those living with domestic abuse in East Kent.
