Creativity knows no bounds, as shown by the talented Jo who challenged herself to create a famous artwork each day for 50 days using only things found in and around the house. It was so well received that she produced a calendar of the most popular 'works of art' and has very generously donated more than £350 to Oasis.
We are eternally grateful for the ongoing support of the Rotary Club of Broadstairs. They donated £1,000 at a much needed time for us in supporting our clients affected by domestic abuse post lockdown.

Betsy Bakes for Oasis
Special thanks to our young Fundraiser Betsy Copland who began raising money by baking cakes at home to sell to family and friends. Betsy was then invited in to Margate Bakery MODERNPROVIDER for an apprenticeship to help make her delicious sausage rolls. Betsy raised over £330 for Oasis and we are so inspired by her passion for baking and supporting her local community.
The fabulous Bryony Bishop from Bee’s Bookshare raised a staggering £1,490 for Oasis by bundling books to eager readers all over Thanet and beyond. You probably saw her cycling around with a mountain of books on her deliveries. We are so grateful to have the support of Bee and her Bookshare friends.
Thank you Elena and Hannah, founders of luxury loungewear shop rho who are donating £5 from every item sold to Oasis. They believe that everyone deserves a safe night’s sleep and so do we. If you would like to support their mission and ours please visit www.wheninrho.com
Thank you Cat Proudfoot from Margate Pilates Studio for kindly raising £274.50 for Oasis by donating the proceeds from 4 weeks of Women’s Health classes to us. The classes teach appropriate techniques for those experiencing common complaints associated with menopause and women’s health and we are so grateful for this generous fundraiser
This beautiful 'Rainbow' giclee print is being sold in aid of us, by the talented and lovely Lisa McNair. The piece is an unframed print of an original watercolour fashion illustration painting with 25% of every sale going towards our work.
You can find this lovely artwork at https://www.etsy.com/shop/lisaillustrationsGB
Heartfelt thanks to all members of Thanet Quilters who donated 40 handmade quillows, 2 quilts and over 60 filled handmade toiletry bags for the families we support.
