Educational Group Work

Phoenix is a 10-week group educational programme for adults that have experienced domestic abuse that runs across Kent and Medway. Oasis runs programmes for women, men and LGBTQ+ people.

Phoenix has been designed to be interactive, inclusive and educational. We cover safety planning, the tactics used in abusive relationships, the warning signs, as well as personal boundaries and building healthy relationships in a way that is engaging and promotes self-care. The programme is delivered by forums and service providers across Kent and Medway.

You can find out who delivers in your area, how to refer yourself, someone you know or a client and what to consider by visiting the Phoenix website.

Phoenix is delivered by professionals who are experienced in group work and are experts in domestic abuse. If you’d like to volunteer as a lead or co-facilitator or what our training days look like, find out more here.

Oasis’s programme really opened my eyes to my understanding that I’m in control of my own life. I’ve re-built my life and am now with someone that respects and supports me. I’m truly grateful to Oasis and other domestic abuse charities for doing what they do. Thank you!
